Wedding Music
Your wedding day playlist.
It’s easily forgotten amongst all the other seemingly more pressing wedding planning decisions but your wedding music sets the mood at your wedding. If you want to hear the songs you love, songs that mean something to you both, then it’s worth putting some thought into creating your ultimate wedding playlists.
Important Notes
For ease and clarity, please set up the music for each section of the day as separate playlists. This is so the Event Manager knows what music to play and when.
Please make sure that all songs and playlists are downloaded. It is perfectly okay to use Spotify to create these playlists but please do not rely on the wifi for streaming them.
1. Arrival of Guests
A small selection of tracks, around 5-10 to settle your guests into the ceremony barn. The background music helps to relax guests as they arrive. You should choose music that’s close to your heart and make your guests smile as their anticipation builds towards the big moment.
You can choose your own music for this or alternatively we can supply a playlist.
2. Entrance Music
One track for you to make your entrance into the ceremony barn. It’s important to remember that there is usually only 45 seconds or so for the party to move from the back of the room to the Registrar’s table at the front so some wedding music is more appropriate than others.

3. The Signing of Register
Pick 2 or 3 of your favourite songs or music with special significance to be played whilst you sign the register during your wedding.
Our suggestions include: A Thousand Years (Cristina Perri), Have I Told You Lately (Van Morrison), We’ve Only Just Begun (The Carpenters), Better Together (Jack Johnson) and Everything (Michael Bublé)
4. Exit Music
One track to be played as you exit the ceremony barn. This is usually something light and celebratory that reflects your personal taste now that the serious part is over!
Our suggestions include: Wedding March (Mendelssohn), Trumpet Voluntary (Clarke), Love Me Do (The Beatles), Signed, Sealed Delivered (Stevie Wonder), You Make My Dreams (Daryl Hall & John Oates)
5. Drink's Reception
Set the ambience to your drink’s reception with personalised wedding music to last around 1 hour 30 minutes. This playlist can be your own selection, or we can supply a playlist for you.
Our suggestion for this section of the day is BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
6. Wedding Breakfast
A playlist of your choice to last around 2 hours. When choosing the tracks for this playlist consider that the music should add to the ambience; you don’t want it overpowering the dinner conversation. You can choose this playlist yourself or alternatively we can supply a playlist for you.
7. First Dance
Your First Dance song is arguably some of the most important music on your wedding day. The song you choose will always be remembered and cherished by you and your guests.
Choose a song that is personal to you and supply us with a playlist as a back up to ensure that your band or DJ have the correct version of your song.
Top Playlist Tips
If you have used a mobile phone to create your playlist, please ensure that it is on flight mode to prevent any calls coming through mid ceremony.
Please ensure that the device you are using for your wedding music has a headphone jack to be compatible with our sound system.
Make sure your device is fully charged and ready to go to play your wedding music.

Live Music
Of course, you can choose to have live music such as a harpist, pianist or string quartet during the ceremony and drinks reception if you wish.
