This magnificent Grade II* Listed property dates back to 1560; a family home for the last 400 years, it’s perfect wedding-night accommodation for your extended family.
You’ll love the warm and welcoming communal areas including a relaxing lounge area, a sumptious dining room and an inviting farmhouse kitchen. It has 5 unique double bedroom suites, some of which feature additional single beds making them ideal for couples with children.
Available only as a complete family unit, the Country House offers a fantastic onsite bed & breakfast option.

Sink into the Chesterfield sofas and recount your favourite moments of the the incredible wedding day, over a hot drink.
You’ll find a hot drinks station in The Farmhouse Kitchen where you can make yourself a tea, coffee or hot chocolate at any time of the day or night.
The Parlour Bedroom
This sensational bedroom benefits from stone mullion double aspect windows, offering amazing views across the grounds and surrounding countryside.
Incredibly spacious and stylishly decorated, this Ground Floor Bedroom with Kingsize Double Bed, has its own Private Shower Room just opposite (2 robes provided).
This room very comfortably accommodates two adults, with plenty of room for an extra baby cot, available upon request.
First Floor

The Yew Tree Bedroom
This First Floor Bedroom is simply magnificent. Sink into the fabulous Kingsize Double Bed and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
There are two extra Single Beds in this room, behind the panelling at the head of the Kingsize Double Bed, with their own lamp and bedside table.
Guests staying in this room are invited to use their own Private Bathroom featuring free standing bath & shower (2 robes provided) – Max occupancy 4, plus a baby (cot available upon request.)
The Library Bedroom
You won’t be short of something to read in this utterly charming First Floor Bedroom. A luxurious Kingsize Double Bed dominates the centre of this inspiring room which also features a comfy armchair and make-up station.
Guests staying this delightful room are invited to use their own private bathroom, featuring a glorious free-standing bath & shower (2 robes are provided).
This bedroom very comfortably accommodates 2 adults with plenty of room for a travel cot (available upon request).
The Panelled Bedroom
The sumptuous blush-rose palette and country-house florals in this room are deliciously alluring.
This First Floor Bedroom features dark wood panelling, behind which, you’ll find a dressing room and ensuite shower room.
You’ll find a Kingsize Double Bed and an extra Single Bed in this delightful bedroom; suitable for 2 or 3 adults with plenty of room for an extra travel cot (available upon request.)
Good to Know
We provide Luxury Toiletries, Bed Linen & Fluffy Towels for all guests and you’ll find a hairdryer in the bedrooms.
Where applicable, please bring your own bedding for any cots. We provide the cots free of charge, upon request, without linens.

You’ll find a Double Bed, 2 Children’s Built-In Cabin Beds, One Single Bed, a cot and a cot bed. A walk through bathroom completes this delightful open-plan suite.
Perfect for a couple with young children, this quirky and magical open-plan space is sure to fire up the children’s imagination! Max occupancy 2 adults, 3 children, plus a toddler and a baby.
The Country House is over 400 years old and the attic space is super-quirky with a number of low beams, it’s best suited for your younger, agile guests or the very young at heart!
Check-in from 1pm
The earliest check-in time for The Country House is 1pm.
Please make your way to ‘Wedmin HQ’ onsite at The Ashes Barns to collect your room key from 1pm.
Resident parking is available to the rear of the wedding venue.
Check-out by 10.30am
Collection of any wedding items and decorations left in secure overnight storage is available at 9.30am
We respectfully request that all overnight guests have checked-out and left the venue by 10.30am.
Bed & Breakfast
The Country House is available to hire for the wedding night only on a bed and breakfast basis.
We’ll set out a delicious continental style breakfast in the Farmhouse Kitchen, available bewteen 8:00 to 9:30am.
Catering for Young Children
Whilst The Farmhouse Kitchen is not equipped for ‘self-catering’, you will find a microwave and some children’s crockery and cutlery so that you can heat any baby or toddler food you might bring for your little ones.
We can also pop a small fridge in your bedroom for baby milk upon request.
