The Wedding Breakfast Barn

The East Barn

With its impressive stone archway entrance, opening into the anteroom and generously proportioned banqueting hall, The East Barn at The Ashes is the perfect barn for wedding celebrations.

Wedding Breakfast

Your table plan is mounted in the anteroom, easily visible to your guests as they enter. Once seated in the wedding reception barn, they have a chance to survey the elegant surroundings prior to the Bride and Groom’s big entrance. Their eyes will drink in the visually stunning barn with its glass fronted balcony above, which leads off the relaxed and chic bar area. The heady bouquet of the wine on the tables will add to their anticipation of the taste sensation of your individually selected menu.

Your Grand Entrance

For the Bride and Groom, entering The East Barn to the uproarious applause of your friends and family is one of the highlights of the day, it is such a joyful moment and for many, it is the first time they see their vision for this barn complete; all the table centrepieces, decorations, favours, flowers and guests in place and looking resplendent!

Straight or Round Top Table

Should you opt for a traditional straight top table or a more informal round top table, the Bride and Groom are always positioned centrally, offering the best view of all the guests. Whether your guest list extends to 30 or 150 people; whether your preference is for ‘rustic informal’ or ‘elegant chic’ weddings, barns offer the greatest flexibility to realise that dream.

Once your guests’ appetites are satiated and their limbs are languid from slightly too much delicious wine, it is the perfect time for speeches. Our wireless microphone will subtly amplify the speaker’s voice so that all your guests can appreciate every word of what is often a painstakingly crafted, oratory delight

The Bar & Dancing

Following the Wedding Breakfast, as your evening guests are invited into The East Barn, which is also the wedding reception barn, your guests can explore  further and discover the bar area before moving onto the sprung dance floor to enjoy dancing with friends and family to your DJ or Band’s / music.
