Sping Weddings at The Ashes Barns
By Wedding Specialist Jayne
Spring to Life
Despite the unpredictable winter weather at The Ashes Exclusive Country House Barn, every year we anticipate the re-birth of its glorious grounds.
Spring Weddings at The Ashes means beautiful shooting buds and the arrival of tiny snowdrops followed by "a host of golden daffodils" - just showing off my (limited) knowledge of Wordsworth there! – heralding the arrival of Spring in all its glory and some truly wonderful Spring Weddings!
New Beginnings
Spring is a time for renewal, change and new beginnings as mother nature proves, so what better time to celebrate your Wedding with us than at this most positive time of year enjoying the gentle warmth of the returning sun?
Time to Celebrate
Once the clocks change, we can look forward to longer daylight hours which can be advantageous if you are planning some fun outdoor activities for your guests.
Some of our forthcoming wedding parties attending Spring Weddings at The Ashes can look forward to giant games in the North Courtyard and mini Easter egg hunts for the children (a good way of keeping them occupied whilst the grown-ups sip their reception drinks and have their photographs taken!).
Do It Your Way
We are, of course, more than happy for you to supply your own drinks for your reception which Jenkinsons - our award-winning caterers, will serve to your guests.
We have a gorgeous array of expertly chosen drinks which won't break the bank and you can be assured that if you have over ordered we will happily refund any unopened bottles, avoiding you having a garage full of wine that you may never finish!

Freshly Prepared
Bucks Fizz, Sparkling Wines, Champagne and chilled beers start to replace the winter warmer drinks of the past season and what better way to enjoy them than walking on the soft, freshly mowed lawn of The Ashes, taking in the spectacular rolling countryside?
The fabulous Ashes ground staff are poised, tools sharpened, ready to pounce on any unruly blade of grass which dares to spoil the look of this tranquil spot!
Fan Favourites
If you listen carefully you might hear the sound of new born lambs born on the neighbouring farms or, if you are lucky, catch a glimpse of Ben's beloved Highland Cows.
Over the years our magnificent friends have become huge fan favourites at The Ashes Barns, with couples and guests queing up to take photos.
