Rustic Barn Wedding Venues

Phew!

I will never forget the look of relief on a Mother-of-the-Bride’s face at the end of a recent viewing of The Ashes, as she exclaimed “Well thank goodness! When you said you wanted to look at rustic barn wedding venues I didn’t know what to expect, this is gorgeous!”
It transpires she had imagined hay bales for the seating, a tractor or two parked up inside the barns and the not so fragrant aroma of ‘farmyard’ pervading the atmosphere. Bless!
Although The Ashes was a working farm for many generations it was transformed in 2008 into one of the country’s best rustic barn wedding venues, winning the overall Best Wedding Venue Award 2014 at the Wedding Industry Awards.

The Ashes lends itself to any number of different wedding themes but I do love it when one of our gorgeous couples embraces the rustic charm of these old barns and runs with it.

I love that…simplicity and charm, it’s not for everyone but I think it’s a grand way to theme your wedding. Invariably rustic weddings are about everyone being relaxed and having a good time, they’re about celebrating the joy of marriage, enjoying a fabulous meal and packing out the dancefloor at the end of the night.
