The Dressing Room
Every wedding party needs a beautiful space for their morning preparations.
The Dressing Room at The Ashes Barns is equipped with all the necessities needed for a seamless pamper session. Along with tea and coffee facilities and/or glassware with an ice bucket for those bringing a bottle of fizz. Expect glamorous vanity mirrors, plenty of plug sockets, high hanging hooks, and ample room for the entire wedding party to join in on the fun.
To make your morning even more delightful, why not order one of our in-house caterers’ delicious pastry baskets? These baskets are perfect for a light breakfast or a mid-morning treat to keep you all refreshed and energised. Pop an order in with the team and we’ll have it ready and waiting for you.
Both of you deserve a relaxing space to savour this special morning. Don’t forget – The Wedding Night Suite is also available to check in from midday. Offering a beautiful space for you both to enjoy the morning of your wedding.
10:30am Arrival
Arriving at 10:30am gives you ample time to soak in the beautiful surroundings and start your preparations in a relaxed and unhurried manner. This carefully chosen time allows you to enjoy a full morning of pampering and bonding with your wedding party without the rush.
This timing often works perfectly when scheduled in conjunction with our recommended 1:30pm ceremony time. This offers ample time for you to enjoy your morning preparations and for every part of your day to follow naturally and comfortably.
Need More Time?
We understand that some couples may have concerns about the 10:30am arrival time. For larger wedding parties requiring an earlier start time, you may wish to take advantage of one of our recommended local accommodation options. These lovely spots provide a cosy and convenient place for you and your party to begin your preparations before heading to The Ashes Barns to add those final finishing touches.
This way, you can enjoy a leisurely morning and arrive at The Dressing Room already partly prepared. This allows you to make the most of these precious moments at the venue and fully enjoy the morning of your wedding without pressure.

We suggest coordinating with your hair and makeup team to create a schedule that fits within the available time frame. Many couples find that having a detailed plan helps streamline the process, ensuring that everything runs smoothly without feeling rushed.
