The Ashes has to be one of the most alluring, flexible and fabulous wedding venues in the UK. It is spectacularly beautiful; set in 50 acres of glorious Staffordshire countryside it comprises of two
incredible old stone barns, a magnificent country house, thoughtfully landscaped grounds and a wonderful preparation suite for the Bride to get ready in, on the morning of her wedding.
Exclusive Use Wedding Venue
Despite the ample proportions of the historic barns it feels surprisingly intimate due to the fact that it is one of a select few exclusive-use wedding venues in the UK and enjoys an exceedingly private and yet accessible location. Your guests will thank you for not asking them to traverse the length and breadth of Staffordshire via tiny country lanes; The Ashes is set well back
from a main road and your guests are treated to a sedate amble up the tree lined private driveway at the end of which they are invited to park their vehicles in a discrete car park, tucked just out of sight. A small detail which makes all the difference; the last thing you want in your wedding photographs are cars in the background.
No Corkage
The Ashes is one of a very small number of wedding venues in the UK operating a No Corkage policy. Brides and Grooms are welcome to supply their own daytime drinks and The Ashes does not impose a corkage or service fee.
That gives you the flexibility to supply the drinks you know your guests will love and you can keep your parents happy by inviting them to help you select the wine to accompany the Wedding Breakfast!
