Pedestrian Access

The Village Cottage is a 10 minute stroll away from The Ashes Barns Wedding Venue along a private pedestrian route.

If you’re planning to walk back to the cottage at the end of the wedding celebrations, it’s a great idea to bring some flat shoes to walk home in.

The pedestrian access route includes a short distance along an unlit country lane, you’ll find a couple of small torches in the cottage that you might like to pop in the cloakroom area at The Ashes with your flat shoes.

Option to Breakfast at The Ashes

Let us know if you would like to join the Happy Couple for breakfast the morning after the wedding and we can add this to your booking.

Breakfast at the wedding venue, the morning after the wedding you are attending is available as an optional extra, priced at £10 per person, payable at the time of booking.

You can look forward to a scrumptious continental-style breakfast buffet with freshly baked croissants and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, yoghurt and lots of freshly brewed tea and coffee.

Parking at The Black Horse Pub

The Village Cottage is a period property in the sleepy village of old Endon. It does not have a private driveway and guests are encouraged to Drop Off their belongings at the property before parking their car in the car park of The Black Horse Pub just a few hundred yards away.

We have a great relationship with the Landlord of The Black Horse Pub who hopes to welcome guests into this thriving local pub for a drink or some home cooked food during their stay in the village.
