Enjoy a Stress Free Wedding Morning
Get Ready at The Ashes Barns
You can arrive at The Ashes Barns as early as 10.30am with your entourage of bridesmaids, to enjoy getting ready in The Dressing Room.
A bottle of bubbly is a lovely touch, you can drop this off with your other wedding day items the day before; we’ll chill it overnight then on your wedding day your Event Manager can deliver this to the bridal preparation suite with some champagne flutes to help settle any pre-wedding nerves.
The bridal preparation suite is kitted out with a bluetooth speaker so you can listen to some happy tunes and get in a celebratory mood with your girlies!
Hair & Make Up
If you've booked a professional make-up artist and hair stylist they are very welcome to arrive at The Ashes Barns from 10am to get set up prior to your arrival at 10.30am.
Depending on your ceremony time, they may suggest starting much earlier than this at your residence and may accompany you to The Ashes to add the finishing touches having done most of the prep earlier that morning.
Get The Bride Ready First!
This may sound alien, but with many wedding parties we find everyone else gets dressed first so that they’re ready to help the bride, but if time starts to slip away then it’s the bride that ends up rushing.
Make sure one of your bridesmaids was at your final dress fitting so they know exactly how to lace up your dress and how to bustle it up later.
Aim to be in your wedding dress no less than 30 minutes before your ceremony. This will mean you can have some stress free pictures taken and enjoy that magical 'reveal' moment with your dad.
You should be dressed when the registrars come over and have a quick chat to you around 15 minutes before your ceremony time.
